Bird comes
A woman, a song, a story that you can read from her body, from her walk, from her lips. A dance that leaves spaces for the atmosphere of a character, a dance that floods one moment in her mind and heart with transparency.
Starting point of this work was an old German children song. Connecting to its simple but associative text Wolf creates a female figure which intimately communicates herself though her physicality and her voice in an unspectacular manner.
"Humour and kafkesque losses of identity,
a 15 mins. petitesse...., that plays again and
again with the public's expectations and its
shortness finally seems like a genious betrayal
of the desire for more.
